My work is guided by something I observed during my first community consultation with Hunter-Trapper Organizations from across the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut: 

A gap in literature does not always equal a gap in knowledge.

I address Indigenous-driven questions and concerns through interdisciplinary methods.
